They go together like chocolate and peanut butter.

Or, money and your bank account!

Today, we’re going to break down and go through why you want a Hero Funnel and how to effectively utilize your funnel. So, let’s get to know your funnels!

Why You Need a Hero Funnel?

If you haven’t seen the news, websites are dead. In fact, it’s going to be harder and harder for you to find a website with anyone up and coming. They’re just not necessary anymore. Back in the day, a website was your plot of land in the virtual world. It was a way of making a statement.

But that was short lived. With the rise of social media, you can be everywhere at any time. Instant access, immediacy, and communication all have ruled out website homepages as something that’s just prehistoric.

And yet, there are tons of people that still ask “Do you have a website?” and leave you stunned.

I guess I should have one?

There’s nothing for you to do on a homepage for a website. Anything that you would do on a website is immediately done better through advertising, social media, or one of the many other avenues. But, this is where the Hero page can serve a purpose for you. As many people expect it to be there, you can use it to your advantage.

A Hero Funnel serves as your opportunity meet expectations and serve a purpose for your own business strategies. The Hero Page gets people to know you and it gives you a chance to redirect them to a funnel, your social media page, your blog, or wherever you want to send them. But, the key to this is capturing the emails of everyone who visits your page. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel!

Who is a Hero Funnel Good For?

A Hero Funnel is good for pretty much anyone who has a personality in front of what they are selling. If people are asking you: “Do you have a website?” and they know that you don’t have a physical product they’re expecting to order. So, if you have people that aren’t expecting an order form when they put your name into the URL field, then a Hero Funnel is for you.

This is when you are going to give people your story, your origin. It is a place for them to get to know you. This is why it is great for anyone who is going to draw people in through their charisma and story.

This is the place where you are the hero, not your service, not your product, and not your coaching. You are front and center here. This is YOUR HOUSE!

But, if you want something to check off your list, are you one of the following:

  • An Author
  • A Speaker
  • A Coach
  • A Consultant
  • An Ecommerce Guru/Guru-in-Training
  • Selling Business-to-Business
  • A Network/Affiliate Marketer
  • Someone Offering a Professional Service (photographers, designers, decorators, etc.)
  • You Have a Brick and Mortar Store

Each of these businesses are great for having a Hero Funnel, because you are the man or woman of the hour here. This is all about you and you want people to fall in love with you. You want them to understand your origins and where you’re coming from. But most of all, you want them to believe in your credibility and value. This is how it is done, people! With your Hero Funnel!

What Makes a Hero Funnel Work?

A Hero Funnel is incredibly simple to build. In fact, there’s a reason why it’s the funnel that we encourage new Funnel Hackers to build. It’s literally just two pages with a clickpop!

So, to break it down, here’s the nuts and bolts of what makes a Hero Funnel work.

First up is your Hero Page

A Hero Page is simple It has a great headline, a robust sub-headline, usually a video, and then some killer copy that brings the whole thing together for people who might not have 5 minutes to watch your video.

On your Hero Page while you’re talking all about yourself and why you’re awesome, you also have a spot for them to follow you with their email. Now, you can attach an offer to that, like get my free ebook now, or a report, etc. But, you also want to have links to everything else that you have on the internet. So, if you have a YouTube channel, Facebook Page, Twitter account, etc. You want to have access to everything you have right there!

If they click on ANYTHING that takes them off of that page, a ClickPop is prompted, which is simply a popup that says: Hey wait, stay in touch amigo! Put your email address here!

Of course, that’s when your follow up funnel goes into play and your emails start flying like it’s the Blitzkrieg, but that’s another topic.

But, no matter how you get that email address, either on the Hero Page or the ClickPop, it’s going to trigger the second actual page, which is: The Thank You Page.

The Thank You Page is extremely simple. You thank them for signing up. This is most effectively done with a video that starts playing once the page loads.

Boom!

Thanks for signing up! I’ll be in touch with you shortly! Blah-Blah-Blah!

Don’t clutter the process! Your Thank You Page doesn’t have to be anything miraculous or ambitious here! You don’t need to sell them on anything with this page. That’s what your follow up sequence will do. Here, just get in and out without changing their opinion.

Just walk away and don’t look back!

Your work here is done!

Your Take Away!

This has been nice. Hasn’t it?

You get to know Hero Funnel. He tells you all about himself. You realize that he’s a valuable asset and totally worth your time. But, in turn, he offers to get you as many emails as you will allow him to. He’s a good guy.

But, what you should take away from this is that a Hero Funnel is a simple and clean way for you to get some credibility and familiarity with your prospects. It’s a clean funnel without anything too complicated or fancy and it’s the perfect introduction for you in ClickFunnels. This is your clean first steps, because from here on out, it gets really interesting!

With a singular purpose and a lot of creativity, you can get a lot of legwork on a Hero Funnel. You can pack it full of value so that they can’t help but want to know more about you and what you’re doing. It’ll satisfy that “website” itch that so many people still cling to while acting as a hub for all of your social media outreach. Because of this, it’ll boost your traffic and SEO like crazy.

So, if you don’t have a Hero Funnel, what are you waiting for?

Get on it!
